Todays Bible Lesson:
I always wonder what I want to be when I grow up. In the “Wear Sunscreen” hypothetical commencement speech by Mary Schmich, said “Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your life…
the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives some of the most interesting 40-year-olds I know still don’t”
I still don’t know what I want to be. I tinker, I think, and now I pray. God will help me if I come to HIM with “all my heart”. The challenge is listening to HIS voice and not your own. I will let you know when I figure out how

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.” – Jeremiah 29:11-14

“Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t
maybe you’ll have children, maybe you won’t
maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding
anniversary…
what ever you do, don’t congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either
your choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s”
Trust in the Lord, he will guide you
