5:140 – Endurance and unity

Intro
When we feel exhausted we often turn to God for endurance and strength. Today’s verse shows us that he who gives us that endurance wants us to live in unity.
Scripture
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer
Father God, we pray today for strength and endurance so we cna finish the race strong. Help us as we are living to also seek unity. You want us to live in peace and with others. Its not easy, so we pray for guidance and discernment to make the best choices that lead to peace and unity. In your name, we pray, Amen.
