Today is Mother’s Day. I’ve been blessed beyond measure by my wife and female friends who are mothers or have been mothers to me. Today is also the first Mother’s Day without my mum. I miss her. I also didn’t take advantage or make the most of the time I had with her. I also thought there was always more time. But there isn’t.

So make the most of every day you have!

• Colossians 4:5-6 – Make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Reflection

Just a short reflection. Never give up an opportunity to make an impact. Tomorrow isn’t promised but today is. Remember to be kind, compassionate, loving, and speak the truth into whomever you can.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank you for everything you’ve given us. We sometimes take time for granted. Help us to make the most of everything and every second you give us. We pray this in your name, Amen.
