December 8 – Writer’s Block

4:32 – Writer’s Block

#faithbites #faithjourney Writer’s

Setting

Today, I’ve been staring at this blank screen for a long time. I don’t have ideas for #faithbites and even the verse of the day, didnt do anything for me. I almost gave up and just didn’t do one tonight, but that’s giving up.

We all have the equivalent of Writer’s block in life. We arent inspired and just aren’t sure what’s next. The key, is to just keep going. I started writing and God blessed me with what is this #faithbites.

Today’s Questions: What do you do when you have Writer’s block? How do you keep moving even if you have no ideas?

Scripture

Hebrews 12:1-2 – Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross,  scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Reflection

We have to throw off what hinders us. If we have Writer’s block, lets find different ways to break that block. Walk around, listen to music, and get inspiration. Sometimes, we just need to keep going no matter what. God will inspire you, oead you, ajd provide motivation, you just need to give him the space and time to work in you.

As we close, find ways to break up your faith routine or life when you are stuck and blocked. God will give you the answer.

Prayer

Lord God, help us get beyond our blocks and onto the path you want us to. We turn it over to you and pray for your fuidance. In your name, we pray, Amen.
