4:57 – God Has Your Back. Don’t Worry!

Setting

I was sitting here on a Zoom meeting to end the day with work and realized I had nothing to write for #fiathbites. Then, God spoke. I googled for the verse of the day and Isaiah 41:10-11 came up. God tells us never to worry, never to fear because he will strengthen us and help us through eve3rything.

This week has been a bit hard as I’m still trying to find “my thing”. That thing that gives me passion instead of frustration. I’m learning, and God keeps giving me the same lesson over and over. I’m not God, never will be, and shouldn’t try. He is with us, has us, and helps us. All we have to do is get out of his way.

Today’s Questions: Do you believe that God has your back? How does knowing that changes your outlook on life?

Scripture

Isaiah 41:10-11 – So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.

Reflection

Not many words from me tonight. Just know that God has your back no matter what. We don’t have to do anything to earn His love or his protection. Just live in his love.

As we close, a simple reminder: You are loved by God. He has your back and will never let you go.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank you for always being with us and letting us know that we have you and you have our back. We may feel alone or worried but you are there. We love you Lord and thank you for everything. Lord, we pray in your name for peace, comfort, and love, Amen.
