5:154 – Find those who value you

Intro

Have you ever been in a situation where you don’t feel valued or appreciated? Maybe it’s not in words but in actions. I have had several situations where the words seem to show value but the actions don’t. We know that God loves us and values us for who we are. If we aren’t valued, we need to go somewhere where we are valued. Or as a good friend said, to where “we are loved, cherished, and supported.”

• Song of Songs 2:4 – Let him lead me to the banquet hall, and let his banner over me be love
• Zephaniah 3:17 – The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
• Psalm 63:3 – Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, you have shown us love in all you do. You forgive us and value us even when we feel we have no value. We pray that you help us find the people who love us, cherish us, and want us. Let those people match their words with actions to show that they truly value our contributions as you value us. We pray this in your name, Amen.
