You Will Not Fail
November 24 – You Will Not Fail

4:328 – You Will Not Fail

Setting

Today is a day when I go to Verse of the Day for motivation as I’m tired and lacking both motivation and inspiration. Today’s verse gets to the very bottom of faith. With Jesus, we will not fail. Our faith is enough and his grace is sufficient for us.

Today’s Questions: How do you define your faith? What do you do when you have no words to express what is going on?

Scripture

Psalm 37:23-25 – If the LORD delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

Reflection

There it is in black and white. God will make our steps firm and when we stumble, God will uphold us. You make look at the first part of the verse and say what if the Lord doesn’t delight in what I’m doing. Will I fail? The truth is, yes, you will. But, and here’s the big but, through Christ we are forgiven and our ways made right with God. So he will delight in you when he sees us, he sees his Son. That is the root of our Faith. On days when I struggle, have no motivation, and think it’s over, I turn it over to Christ and he makes me through.

As we close, remember God’s Grace is sufficient for you. You will not fail through Him.

Prayer

Lord God, thank you for reminding us that we won’t fail. Thank you for loving us, protecting us, and upholding us. Thank you for your Son who makes us pure and clean in your site. Father God, we pray for this remembrance and strength to not get bogged down in self-doubt. We love you and give you all the Glory in the world. In your name, Amen.
