Setting

Here is a shocker for you: I am not always right! I know, crazy. My life can be a total mess at tomes, and I”m the one who made the mess. I’m so far from perfect, I can even see it. But, and herez the big but, I’m loved by God an have supports.

None of us are perfect and none of us can do it by ourselves. God give us support through Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and all pir friends. True friends are the knes who will challenge you, support you, and get you through your mess. They love so too much to leave you where you are. I have a couple friends like that and thank God everyday for them.

Today’s Questions: How can you support your friends to get them out of the mess they are in? Where dp you fknd the strength to support them even if they refuse to get out of their mess.

Scripture

• Galatians 6:1-2 – Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
• James 5:19-20 – My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

Reflection

Being loving and caring as Christians, doesnt mean we can’t challenge our friends. We love them enough to challenge them and help them out of their mesa. Its not always going to be easy, but Jesus never said it would be. We have to do itnin kondness, do it in private, and help them.

We do this for two reasons. First is we are called to do it and second, one day we will need it too. We all need support throjgh the difficult times in our lives. Sometimes it takes a friend from outsode to show us what we can’t see. .

As we close, remember to give and accept support. Challenge each other to grow but do it with love, kidness, and respect.

Prayer

Father God, i have a specific friend who I want to challenge amd help her to grow. Be with her as she deals with her anger and misinformation. Prpv3ide her the friends she needs to pull her out of her mess.

Lord, help all of us. We all have a mess and need support to move past it and clean it up. Jesus, we seek and pray for your guidance. We pray all this in your name, Amen.
