4:208 – It’s Your Turn
#faithbites #faithjourney turn
Setting
For over four and a half years, I’ve been writing #faithbites daily. The structure has changed a bit, but it’s all been about me, my situation, and my reflection. Today, I was kicking off a fellowship where everyone has to do work to earn the fellowship. It will be a lot of work over the next two years, but it’s my turn to do my own project. Likewise, for today’s #faithbites, I want you to complete this #faithbites or write your own. It doesn’t have to be long, but let’s see how you reflect on the idea of having others take their turn to lead.
Today’s Questions: When is it time to step aside and let others lead. When it’s your turn, how do you lead and share Jesus?
Scripture
- Galatians 6:10 – So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
- Galatians 5:13 – For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
Reflection
This space was intentionally left blank. Your turn to reflect!
Prayer
Father God, thank you for giving us chances to lead and to follow. Help us to know when to step up and when to step back. Let us support those who are leading and be good followers. When we are leaders, let us be great leaders to those who chose to follow us. We pray that you help us in balance as we take on new roles, step away from old roles, and find chances to let others step up. In your name, we pray, Amen.
