232 – Love One Another. That means Everyone.
#faithbites #faithjourney everyone.
Sometimes #faithbites are deep. Other times they are funny. Still other times emotional. This one is short, simple, and sweet. Love One Another.
We’ve talked many times about the others. How we fear them or hate them or segregate them because they are different.
If they are a different race, gender, religion, nationality, orientation, policitcal alignment, rich or poor, we segregate.
Jesus said to love one another. Not only those like you or though who believe like you do. Everybody. Period. End of story.
Scripture on Loving One Another
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. – John 13:34
Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8
Reflection
I told you this one would be easy. There isn’t anyone you shouldn’t love. Love covers sin as love is from god.
I’m far from perfect and sin daily but the know God loves me. There are people who I don’t agree with and wouldn’t necessarily have a beer with them, but I love them and would try to always treat them fairly.
In life, we are blessed by God’s love. Share his love with everyone
Remember, you don’t have to like a person or their actions to show them love. In the end, we are all people of God. One race, one body with many parts.
Charge
Just like this #faithbite, this charge is easy. Love One Another. Saying it is easy, doing it is hard. Start one day, one person at a time. Let the Holy Spirit flow through you. You will show love.
Lord, help me to always show love to everyone. Help me in those times when I disagree with a personsp thoughts or actions. Let me love them, nonetheless
