Setting

Today’s has been a rough day with the back and realizing I can’t do what I want to do. But that got me thinking about prayer and our normal dinner prayer. We say, “Oh Give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good, and his mercy endures forever”.

Two quick items here. God is good and his mercy endures forever. Not just when things are good, not just when they are going our way, but FOREVER!

Today’s Questions: Do you thanks regularly? Can you appreciate when enduring forever means?

Scripture

• Psalm 131:1 (KJV) – O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for eve
• Jeremiah 33:11 (niv) – the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, and the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord, saying,Give thanks to the Lord Almighty, for the Lord is good; his love endures forever.” For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were before,’ says the Lord.

Reflection

When you are in too much pain to go to church, his mercy endures forever.

When everything is going great, his mercy endures forever.

When nothing is going wrong and you want to give up, his mercy endures forever.

God loves us and his mercy is his love..we have nothing to fear for his mercy (stead fast love) endures forever. We are truly a blessed people. Let’s remember that.

As we close, no matter the bumps, no matter the bruises, the cross has made us flawless.

Prayer

Lord Jeshs thank you for your enduring, never ending love. Help your children who are in pain. Help us to serve them and ourselves. Lord we pray that we never give up on you you will never give us on us. We prat the in your name, Amen
