Nov 11 – I Love You Always
2:315 – I Love You Always

#faithbites #faithjourney always

Have sex outside of marriage? I love you. Are gay? I love you. Commit Crimes? I love you. Hate me? I love You. Have a different religion than me? I love you. Have different political beliefs than I? Well…I guess I still love you. Just kidding, I do.

Simple message today: Jesus loves us, no matter what. He wants us to love through invitation and challenge. We love all and want each other to be better. I want to be loved and challenged. But at the end for the day, I am loved and so are you.

Scripture
  • For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:38-39
Reflection

You can’t do anything to lose God’s love. He is your father and loves you no matter what. If we want to be like Jesus, we need to love no matter what.

It’s not easy, but following Jesus isn’t easy. It’s a daily challenge. One that is only won by baby steps, prayer, and faith.

Challenge

Love someone new. Invite them into a relationship with you. Then, and only, challenge them in a respectful way to grow.

Prayer

Lord, you’ve made us all different with different desires and thoughts. We all fall short of your Grace, but you love us. Instill in us your everlasting forgiveness and love. Let us be models of your love to our friends, family, neighbors, and the world. Thank you for all these things. In your name, Amen.
