Is it a physical attribute? Maybe it&#8217;s a mental or spiritual attribute. Perhaps it&#8217;s a combination of all three and more. When I think of strength, I think of being able to achieve my goals, protect those who I need to protect, and live a good life. To me, it&#8217;s not a physical attribute though I would love to have a stronger body than I have. When I get caught up in the day to day; the body goes first, then the mind, then the spirit. Hopefully, I never get to the spirit going weak.<\/p>\n<p>I have surrounded myself with strong people. Starting a college is a trying task, that takes the strongest and starts to empty the fuel tank. When I see those strong people dragging, trying to keep the smile on, it&#8217;s hard. I often see it in my face at the end of the day. My question then is where do you go to for more strength? I would love to say I always go to Christ, but I am human and that doesn&#8217;t always happen.<\/p>\n<h5>Scripture on Strength<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Suggested Scripture:\u00a0<\/strong>I can do all things through him who gives me strength &#8211; Philippians\u00a04:13<\/li>\n<li><strong>Related Scripture:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/isa.40.29\" class=\"verseLink\">Isaiah 40:29<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Nehemiah said, \u201cGo and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.\u201d- <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/neh.8.10\" class=\"verseLink\">Nehemiah 8:10<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n<p>In the King James Version, the word strength or it&#8217;s related words appears 599 times. To me, that means strength is important. We have talked many times before about strength and weakness. Especially how we can&#8217;t do things without the Lord. We need him to help us, to be with us, and to ensure we succeed. When I look at myself to solve everyone&#8217;s problems or even my own, I fail. Lately, I have poured myself into work and asked the Lord for strength. He has come through in amazing ways. People have asked if they could help. A few have even given me praise that I never thought I would hear from them. This is not my doing, but the Holy Spirit working through me.<\/p>\n<p>Again I ask, who do you go to for strength? Is it internal, external or heavenly?<\/p>\n<h5>Charge<\/h5>\n<p>The Lord is here for everyone, no matter how much they believe or question. If you turn to the Lord, believe in him, and ask, he will help. Today&#8217;s charge is to answer the question of who you go to for strength. Are you willing to turn your problems over to the Lord?
