I pray that the forgiveness and love of Christ dwells in you richly. Just a short #faithbites for today. Have you ever wondered why we say &#8220;He is Risen&#8221; instead of &#8220;He was Risen?&#8221; or during Christmas we sing &#8220;The Lord is come&#8221; instead of &#8220;the Lord has come&#8221;? At first it makes no sense because those events happened over 2,000 years ago. But when you realize Jesus is your personal savior, that he is alive, and active in your life, the present tense makes more sense. Jesus isn&#8217;t just a historical figure. He is alive and working through you every day. We celebrate his birth, death, and resurrection and present events becuase they happen for us, now, and every day. Christ loves you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/luk.24.6-7\" class=\"verseLink\">Luke 24:6-7<\/a><\/strong>: &#8220;He is not here; he has risen!&#8221;<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/mat.28.5-6\" class=\"verseLink\">Matthew 28:5-6<\/a><\/strong>: &#8220;The angel said to the women, &#8216;Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.'&#8221;<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/rev.1.17\" class=\"verseLink\">Revelation 1:17<\/a>b-18a<\/strong>: &#8220;Don\u2019t be afraid!
