We know Jesus rose from the dead, but they didn&#8217;t know for sure it would happen. How would you feel on that day? Did they realize that great joy was coming or were they fearful that the gloom of Good Friday would continue forever? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Questions<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>How do you feel when you are in between two things?<\/li><li>Do you always know that you are in between or that one thing just passed?<\/li><li>Knowing that Jesus rose again on Easter, how can that prepare us for the in-between times?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5>Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/psa.31.1-4\" class=\"verseLink\">Psalm 31:1-4<\/a> <\/strong><\/em>&#8211; <em>In you,\u00a0Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in Your righteousness. Turn Your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my Rock of Refuge, a strong fortress to save me. Since You are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of Your Name\u00a0lead and guide me. Keep me free from the trap\u00a0that is set for me, for You are my Refuge<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>You will notice that there is no Gospel verse for today. Today we reflect on what it would have been like for the disciples. Their teacher and Lord is dead. They are hunted, feared, and afraid. We know that tomorrow, He will rise again, but now we are in the in-between. Our faith in God tells us that he is our refuge and will keep us free from the trap that is sin and damnation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we close, remember to reflect on Jesus&#8217;s life, his death, and where we would be without Easter Sunday. Know that he will be with us until the very end of the age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Father God, thank you for your Son and his teachings of your word. Thank you for becoming flesh for us. Lord, as we are reflecting on his life, remind us of the hope that he brings. That death can not conquer our Lord.
