Scrambling to make sure everything is perfect. Getting new details and requirements from everyone all the time.<\/p>\n<p>This could be the site of a wedding, other building a new college or just another day in the tropics. Many of us say ji it wasn&#8217;t for the last minute, nothing would get done.<\/p>\n<p>Our first formal classes start on Monday. I have been inundated with faculty requests, student requests, and more all week. Today hit an all-new record for craziness and excitement. Are things in perfect order? Nope. Are things were I want them to be? Nope. Will everything be ok and wellw adjust? Most definitely.<\/p>\n<p>So in a blog about faith and God, why would I start taking about waiting until the last minute?\u00a0 That&#8217;s easy: God lives outside of time. Choosing to believe in Jesus can haven&#8217;t when you are 1 or 100. It can happen one minute after birth or one minute before death. God doesn&#8217;t know the meaning of the last minute.<\/p>\n<h5>Scripture on Waiting for the Last Minute<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him. &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/2ch.30.9\" class=\"verseLink\">2 Chronicles 30:9<\/a>b<\/li>\n<li>But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die. &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/ezk.18.21\" class=\"verseLink\">Ezekiel 18:21<\/a><\/li>\n<li>If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/2ch.7.14\" class=\"verseLink\">2 Chronicles 7:14<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n<p>There isn&#8217;t one passage that I found that says if you don&#8217;t convert now you are doomed. The Lord forgives and wants us to be his children. We shouldn&#8217;t wait for that deathbed conversion as we will lose the joy of living in Christ. That doesn&#8217;t mean we can&#8217;t convert later and be saved. I waited 39 years to find the Lord, many know a lot sooner and some a lot later. God doesn&#8217;t penalize us for waiting until the last minute.<\/p>\n<p>In life, we think waiting until the last minute is bad as it&#8217;s stressful and crazy. But the thing is, it still gets done. I wish the faculty would have sent me things months ago, but you know what? They are sending it to me and it will work. Just as in life, the Lord will accept you at the last minute.<\/p>\n<h5>Charge<\/h5>\n<p>Have you accepted Jesus in your life? Are you now living a life in Christ? If not, it&#8217;s not too late. Don&#8217;t wait until the last minute to accept him.
