At first it was weird as my routines have also included my work email on my phone. I&#8217;ve realized that I was too connected. I&#8217;ve now decided that I won&#8217;t add it back. I&#8217;ll add my calendar back so I know where I&#8217;m going, but not email. I don&#8217;t need to be that connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We all have routines for some reason or another. Some are great as we share God&#8217;s love and connect with his people. Other routines are bad as they try to fill our <a href=\"http:\/\/roberts-lieb.com\/faithbites\/2019\/03\/06\/march-6-whats-in-your-godhole\/\">Godhole<\/a> with things other than God or they take us away from his people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"questions\">Questions<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Have you ever examined your routines to see if they are good for you? <\/li><li>What changes have you made to improve your relationship with God and others? <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"scripture\">Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/dan.6.10\" class=\"verseLink\">Daniel 6:10<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously. <\/em><\/li><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/luk.4.16\" class=\"verseLink\">Luke 4:16<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read. <\/em><\/li><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/rom.12.2\" class=\"verseLink\">Romans 12:2<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God\u2019s will is\u2014his good, pleasing and perfect will. <\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"reflection\">Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Daniel, the prophets, even Jesus had routines. They read scriptures, came to synagogue, and prayed routinely. These were good routines that helped them get closer to God. We shoild follow these examples as we lead our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If our routine doesn&#8217;t help us get closer to God and his people, then it&#8217;s something we need to do change it. We have to ask him what is good and right, and go that way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we close, remember, that having a routine is good for us to focus, as long as we focus on the right thing. Don&#8217;t debate it, just ask your Father for guidance..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"prayer\">Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord Jesus, we love you and thank you for showing us how important routines are. We pray that you help us to make sure the right things are in our routine and give us time to ask forgiveness for those things that shouldn&#8217;t be there. Help us to always follow you.
