I didn&#8217;t write a #faithbites for the first time since January 5, 2018. Yesterday was a hard day. Besides not writing #faithbites, a major conference that I&#8217;ve been leading and planning for the past year was postponed, because of me. I know, it&#8217;s not my fault. My head understands these thing shut my heart is struggling. The brain knows it&#8217;s not the end of the world as the sun rose, Spock woke me up, and life continues. My heart knows that Christ forgives me my mistakes. It&#8217;s just I have to realize that these mistakes aren&#8217;t sins and it&#8217;s not the end.  Just really hard right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"questions\">Questions<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>How do you accept your mistakes and grow from them? <\/li><li>More importantly, how do you realize that somethings are beyond your control and it&#8217;s not the end of the world? <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"scripture\">Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/psa.37.24\" class=\"verseLink\">Psalm 37:24<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; Though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;upholds his hand.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/eph.5.8\" class=\"verseLink\">Ephesians 5:8<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light<\/em>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"reflection\">Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>I messed up and forgot to write #faithbites. Yes, I can blame #COViD, or can realize that I&#8217;m sick, I&#8217;m human, and it&#8217;s not the end of the world. The conference will take more thought before I can move in. But, God always provides in his words and actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve read our Ephesians verse before but it feels different today. I know I&#8217;m saved through God and our mistakes our forgiven. I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ve ever felt like a child of the light. Not only that but then to walk as a child of the light. What does that mean? My humble reflection is that we are pure through Christ, forgiven, and can walk without sin, shame, or regret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we close, remember your mistakes aren&#8217;t necessarily even sins. Yet, you are still forgiven and it&#8217;s not the end of the world. Walk as God made you, a child of the light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"prayer\">Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord God, I made a promise to daily share your word. Yesterday, I broke that promise. Please forgive me. Help us all to realize that our mistakes aren&#8217;t the end and you will keep your promises and the world spinning. Help us to feel your love and forgiveness always.
