Every little thing is setting me off. It reminds me of the Denis Leary skit where he says <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/P5G8gqFvpz0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">why he can&#8217;t be president<\/a>. It&#8217;s nothing in particular, just a short fuse. Call it genetic, my dad and daughter ha e it, but it stinks. Some days are better than others. I know patience is a virtue,  just today my fuse is short. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today&#8217;s Questions: What do you do when you are having a short fuse day? How do you work to habe more patience with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"scripture\">Scripture <\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/pro.14.17\" class=\"verseLink\">Proverbs 14:17<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; A quick-tempered person&nbsp;does foolish things, and the one who devises evil schemes is hated.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/pro.14.29\" class=\"verseLink\">Proverbs 14:29<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; Whoever is patient has great understanding,&nbsp;but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/2ti.1.7\" class=\"verseLink\">2 Timothy 1:7<\/a> <\/strong>&#8211; For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"reflection\">Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes the little things light our fuse and tick us iff. Othertimes, the fuse just gets shorter and short before BOOM. God tells us to watch our tempersand habe patience and understanding.  I think we know that but in the moment we just lose it. It&#8217;s those moments when we need yto be reminded that God doesn\u2019t want us to be afraid but to have power, love, and self-control.  This is when we need to have strategies to deal with a short fuse. For me, I&#8217;ve lwarned I just need to walk away and get air. A key is just removing yourself from the situation and come back when cooler hwads have prevailed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we close, let&#8217;s remember to watch our tongue&#8217;s, remember God&#8217;s promises, and not let everything get to us. Take a walk!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 id=\"prayer\">Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord Jesus, thank you for loving us no matter whst. Tonight we pray for peace and help to keep our cool. Help us to not let the fuse light and learn ways to love all your people.
