As members of a society we have rules to keep us safe so we can live in peace. We can’t choose what rules to obey and not. If a rule is unjust, we m8ist work to change it. Todat at a volleyball tournament, all of our players, coaches, and spectators were obeying the mask rules. Most of the kther teams were wearkng masks wrong and one team, including their spectators, weren’t wearing them at all. I had players who said why aren’t they following the rules. One perspn said if they aren’t, why should we as it gives them an athletic advantage. Regardless if you believe that masks work, they do, shouldn’t everyone be under the same rules?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is but a small example. No matter what happens, our faith tells us to obey Gods word and our governing authorities. We don’t get to pick and choose. As parents and role models we must set the example, even when it’s hard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
