Right now, I&#8217;m in a land of possibilities. I have been praying for answers for work and my future. Today, I received the first batch of possibilities with more on the way. I know that God is answering my prayers. The hard thing is knowing what is the best choice. To quote the Clash, &#8220;Should I stay or should I go&#8221;. Or in other words, should I choose this or that. It&#8217;s mind-numbing at times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I know all of the choices have pros and cons and am blessed to have these opportunities. It&#8217;s very challenging but exciting. How can our faith prepare us for making these tough choices?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today&#8217;s Questions: What method do you use to choose between two good options? How do you choose between the known and the unknown?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Scripture:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/pro.3.5-6\" class=\"verseLink\">Proverbs 3:5-6<\/a> &#8211; Trust in the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/2ti.1.13\" class=\"verseLink\">2 Timothy 1:13<\/a> &#8211; Follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/2co.4.16\" class=\"verseLink\">2 Corinthians 4:16<\/a> &#8211; So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Today&#8217;s reflection starts with what we know and ends with what we hope for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, we know that God is our father. He loves us, cherishes us, has great plans for us, and wants us to succeed. If we lean on him, trust him, we will succeed. (<a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/pro.3.5-6\" class=\"verseLink\">Proverbs 3:5-6<\/a>). Second, and this was new to me, we can hear God&#8217;s voice in all things destined by him (<a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/2ti.1.13\" class=\"verseLink\">2 Timothy 1:13<\/a>). If we really get down to the bottom of it, his voice will shine through all decisions. It may be difficult to hear him, but once we cut out the noise, the decision gets easier.  Finally, and most importantly, we need to know that God answers our prayers. He will provide for us, and will lead us towards salvation (<a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/2co.4.16\" class=\"verseLink\">2 Corinthians 4:16<\/a>). Our days here are numbered, as are the decisions we make, Very few decisions we make are permanent and will dramatically alter our lives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can make a choice then choose something else at a different time. The one choice we know is true and eternal is Jesus as our savior. Our days are numbered here on Earth, but through Jesus, we will be renewed and reconciled with the Father at the end of our days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m waiting for all the choices to be made apparent to me. W<a href=\"http:\/\/roberts-lieb.com\/faithbites\/2021\/06\/23\/june-23-is-waiting-a-spectator-sport\/\">hile I&#8217;m waiting, I&#8217;m not standing still.<\/a> I&#8217;m working, praying, and moving forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we close, remember God answers prayers and will help you to make good choices. Just listen to him and act!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Father God, thank you for answered prayers. Thank you for clearing up the muddy waters and providing direction. Sometimes we have too many things to choose from and it&#8217;s hard to decide. Please remove the noise and distractions from us so we can follow you and make the decision that you want us to.
