I&#8217;m in my pajamas, sitting on the beach, listening to the waves and birds. No matter how far to the left, the right, or straight ahead I look, I see ocean. In the far off distance I see a cruise ship that looks like a spec. And then there is me. This is my happy place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now I look down and see the beach. An infestismal number if grains of sand all making one beach. I am one tint grain of sand that is part of God&#8217;s design. But without that one grain of sand would the beach be the same? For the casual observer maybe, but not for God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we are small, our problems are smaller and God&#8217;s gifts are greater. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today&#8217;s Questions: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/RV-Z1YwaOiw\" target=\"_blank\">Do you feel small when you stand beside the ocean?<\/a> How does that make you feel? How does it feel about your problems? How can you make others feel less small?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/heb.8.10\" class=\"verseLink\">Hebrews 8:10<\/a> &#8211; For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/luk.12.7\" class=\"verseLink\">Luke 12:7<\/a> &#8211; Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Two short verses for today to reflect on. Feeling small can have one of two effects. It can make you feel worthless or it can make you appreciate how great and massive our God is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our two verses focus on us and our works. God knows us even down to the number of hairs on our head. Our works matter and no amtter how small they may seem, like one grain of sand, together they are mighty. You are important to God. You are important to me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we close, remember that while feelong small to God&#8217;s presence can be humbling, you are important, loved, valued, and needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord God, thank you for this time in your presence on the beach. Thank you for letting us feel small but mighty. Help us to stay connected to you and connected to one another. We pray that no matter how small we feel, we are powerful in your.
