From the old testament to the new, laughter abounds. Our Father wants us to enjoy life, make a joyful noise and shout to the heavens. When we laugh and celebrate, we are celebrating what God does for us. It’s not wrong to laugh. Sure, there are times when we need to “be serious” but we can have a light heart and be serious. We can discuss deep conversations and have a light heart. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This isn’t easy to understand as one person cries and the other laughs. As with all things, communication is the key. If someone is laughing and you don’t think it’s appropriate, ask them why they are laughing. In most cases, they are dealing with something in their own way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will make it short today. As we close, just remember to laugh and enjoy what the Lord has given. Even the groaner Dad jokes and bad puns help us to laugh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father God, thank you for laughter. Thank you for letting us know that you love it when we lift our hearts in song, rejoice, and laugh. Help us to understand how other people react in different situations and love them no matter what. Lord, we pray that you make our hearts light, happy, and full of laughter.
