Setting<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

My oldest is obsessed with BTS<\/a>, which for those not in the know, is a KPop group. And KPop is Korean popular music. She loves it and is getting their merch (yes that’s what the youngin’s call merchandise). She loves it so much that her sister likes it and some of her friends as well. For me, I can’t really stand it. I love lyrics and when they are in Korean, I can’t relate. The thing is, it’s her thing, its’ not hurting anyone, it’s not a sin, so go for it, enjoy it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, a friend posted something on Facebook about a “new tradition”, and at first I thought “that’s a thing”, that’s stupid. But then thought, if she likes it, it’s not hurting anyone, go for it and celebrate. We have so much negativity in the world, why rain on someone’s parade if it’s a good thing for them? In a nutshell, let’s celebrate and enjoy what we can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today’s Questions: If someone likes something you don’t, does it really hurt you to just let them enjoy it? How hard is it to say, that’s not my thing, but I’m glad you like it? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
