Not For Jesus!<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>#faithbites #faithjourney hard<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Setting<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>I can be hard to love. I&#8217;m stubborn, grumpy, moody, judgmental, messy, angry, and frustrated. There are good days and bad days. My wife the other day told me that I can be hard to live with too. I agree with her 100%. I&#8217;m far from perfect. It&#8217;s through Jesus that I try to get better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you ever hard to love or live with? Do you think that impacts your relationship with Jesus. Know this. That no matter what you do or how bad you mess up, Jesus loves you. Through his forgiveness you are made clean and new. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today&#8217;s questions: Do you think you are hard to love? Do you accept the forgiveness of Christ. How do you use that unconditional love to improve yourself?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/1jn.1.3\" class=\"verseLink\">1 John 1:3<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; See what great love\u00a0the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!\u00a0And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/rom.8.35\" class=\"verseLink\">Romans 8:35<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?<\/em><\/li><li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/rom.8.37-39\" class=\"verseLink\">Romans 8:37-39<\/a><\/strong> &#8211; No, in all these things we are more than conquerors\u00a0through him who loved us.\u00a0<sup>38\u00a0<\/sup>For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future,\u00a0nor any powers,\u00a0<sup>39\u00a0<\/sup>neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God\u00a0that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Nothing, I repeat nothing, can separate us from the love a God. God gave his son to die for us. Think about that. We were so far from God that he sacrificed his Son to bring us back into the fold, if that isn&#8217;t love, nothing is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, we all have our negative traits. I have more than my share. It can be hard to live with me and love me. The key to this #faithbites is to remember that no matter how low you are or how much you have messed up, you still have the love of Jesus. That&#8217;s an awesome foundation on which to rebuild. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we close, remember a could of things. You didn&#8217;t and could never earn the love of Jesus. He gave that to you. Just as you didn&#8217;t earn it, you can&#8217;t lose it. You may be hard to love for your fellow humans, but Jesus loves unconditionally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Father God, I can be a horrible person at times. I have so many traits that push people away, make people uncomfortable, and hurt them. We all pray that you can help us improve these traits. We are in awe that no matter how hard we are to love or live with, you love us unconditionally. Thank you, Jesus. We ask you to help us live more in your light and your ways. Forgive us our sins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord, we thank you for the people you put in our lives that love us no matter what we do. We ask for peace and comfort for them as they have to deal with us.
