Nature is Amazing<\/p>\n

Have you ever taken the time to really look at nature? Nature is amazing. Nature is powerful. Nature is breathtaking. Nature is awe-inspiring. Nature is vast. Nature provides for us. Nature is everywhere.<\/p>\n

As is our memorial day tradition, we went to the pools. It was hot hot hot. The weather channel wasn’t calling for any weather, so we packed up and went to meet friends at the pool. We got there right in time for the adult swim. Five minutes into the adult swim, thunder. So 30 minute wait. The kids weren’t happy but we said it was only 30 minutes. 10 minutes passed and more thunder. Again, no happy kids. Then it started to drizzle a bit. No big deal, we were all laughing and enjoying it. Some people left. Then it down poured. We got soaked and enjoyed it. Then more thunder and lightning. People were leaving but some kids were dancing in the rain, just enjoying nature. It got really bad, then we left. I told the kids, let’s get ice cream, a win for everyone, and we would come back and check the pool. So, kids weren’t happy but we went for ice cream and came back, still no swimming but we waited it out and boom, we got to swim. The sky was beautiful, the plants needed the water, and the kids had fun. They realized that sometimes you need to wait and what needs to happen will happen.<\/p>\n

You may wonder why I’m talking about nature in a faithbite? Who made nature? God. Even if you\u00a0believe\u00a0in the Big Bang theory and evolution, who made the stuff for the big bang? God. So let’s replace nature with God, then we might figure it out.<\/p>\n

God is amazing.<\/p>\n

God is powerful.<\/p>\n

God is breathtaking.<\/p>\n

God is awe-inspiring.<\/p>\n

God is vast.<\/p>\n

God provides for us.<\/p>\n

God is everywhere.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cBut ask the animals, and they will teach you,
\nor the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
\nor speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
\nor let the fish in the sea inform you.
\nwhich of all these does not know
\nthat the hand of the Lord has done this?
\nIn his hand is the life of every creature
\nand the breath of all mankind.” – Job 12:7-10<\/a><\/p>\n

“How many are your works, LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number\u2014 living things both large and small.” – Psalm 104:24-25<\/a><\/p>\n

“Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.\u201d – Acts 14:17<\/a><\/p>\n

\n

The Lord is everywhere. From Genesis 1:1<\/a> to Revelation 22:21<\/a>. His touch is in everything and through everything. In our animals, in the sky, the earth, the fish, all creatures. His works are large and small. He is beautiful. He gave us rains and crops, full, and full hearts. How amazing is that? I mean, yes, we get mad at storms pushing around our plans. But we need them for the harvest. We get mad at the heat making life outside is miserable, but the plants need it. Today, I didn’t see most people upset. They were enjoying the break in the heat, making jokes, and just having fun.<\/p>\n

That is what life is. See God everywhere, appreciating his majesty, and knowing that he has a plan for all of it.<\/p>\n

Are you ready to see the rains at bringing future fruit? Are you able to see the storms in our lives making us stronger for the future?<\/p>\n

I am ready and able with the help of God.<\/p>\n
