Setting<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Lately, I have been feeling empty. Not that I’m hungry or lacking in anything but empty. In other words, trying to find fulfiment. I know part of it is my anxiety and depression, part is COVID loneliness, part is just seeking a deeper relationship with God. As we’ve talked before, sometimes we try to fill out God hole with everything but God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you experiencing an emptiness in your life? Are you trying to find fulfiment in this world? This world’s gifts are all temporary, God’s love is eternal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Psalm 81:10<\/a> – I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Romans 15:13<\/a> – I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Some gifts we have to work for to earn money to buy or be eligible to earn. Other gifts we need to be in the right place at the right time. Jesus, promises us fulfilment for all of our needs. We just need to ask him for it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While my heart knows this to be true, my head sometimes has problems accepting it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have want for nothing physical. My fulfilment is in love, touch, and knowing that God will fufil every need I have. It’s up to me to realize it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challenge<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Try not to fill your God hole with Earthy possessions but seek God to fulfill the void. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Lord Jesus, help us to feel fufilled and not empty. It’s hard as many of us are feeling alone and empty. We know you meet all of our needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord, let us seek you for fulfilment in all things. We ask you for your blessings, your comfort, and your love. Amen<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
