Trivial in the grand scheme of the universe but bad for me and my reactions are bad. I almost didn&#8217;t share a #faithbite, but I know someone out there may need this. Even when I have nothing left to give, God always has more to give and is willing to give it to you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please put these words on your hearts and your lips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/2co.3.5-6\" class=\"verseLink\">2 Corinthians 3:5-6<\/a> &#8211; It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God.\u00a0<sup>6\u00a0<\/sup>He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/jas.5.7-11\" class=\"verseLink\">James 5:7-11<\/a> &#8211; Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord\u2019s coming.\u00a0See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting\u00a0for the autumn and spring rains.\u00a0<sup>8\u00a0<\/sup>You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord\u2019s coming\u00a0is near.\u00a0<sup>9\u00a0<\/sup>Don\u2019t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters,\u00a0or you will be judged. The Judge\u00a0is standing at the door!<sup>10\u00a0<\/sup>Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets\u00a0who spoke in the name of the Lord.\u00a0<sup>11\u00a0<\/sup>As you know, we count as blessed\u00a0those who have persevered. You have heard of Job\u2019s perseverance\u00a0and have seen what the Lord finally brought about.\u00a0The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Tonight, reflect on God&#8217;s word. Let it fill you up when you are down, empty, and discouraged. He will lift you up, empower you, and comfort you with his grace, which is sufficient for us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Challenge<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Give it to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Father God, I am empty. I have nothing left to give tonight. My words are not coming out clear and are making things worse. Lord, I ask for your forgiveness and for the forgiveness of those I have wronged. Guide me, fill me, comfort me, and help me to rise from state. With you all things are possible. You provide words when there are none. I know I am not alone in this feeling. Reach out to your people. Let your children know they are loved, forgiven, and needed.
