Let me tell you it hurt like the Dickens. The numbing medicine was very painful then it got easier from there. Today, everyone is asking how I&#8217;m doing. When I say sore, they ask if it&#8217;s because of the pain I had before or because of the injection site. I&#8217;m happy to say, that I&#8217;ve had some relief from the injection and am just dealing with the injection pain in addition to another pain area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter if it&#8217;s surgery, treatment, or even exercise, at first it hurts more then gets better. Life is filled with it being darkest before the dawn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jesus provides our light. He can help us during the darkest most painful night see his brilliance. We get to see that through him there will be no more pain, suffering, or struggle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/jhn.1.5\" class=\"verseLink\">John 1:5<\/a> &#8211; The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/rom.13.12\" class=\"verseLink\">Romans 13:12<\/a> &#8211; The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Pain, suffering, trials and tribulations, are all forms of darkness. Sin, anger, and frustration are temptations that lead us away from God. But we see that the light of Christ never flickers, never waivers, and is always there. No matter how dark the night, he conquers the darkness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may, like me, feel that the pain you have will never go away. That this COVID life will never change. That we will always be in the darkness. The truth is, dawn will come. It may not be as soon as we want it to, but no matter how much it hurts right now, daybreak is on its way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Savior will dry away all tears, remove all pains. We will live in his Grace. We just have to have faith. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve been in pain for over a year. This is the first time that I&#8217;ve felt any bit of relief. It tells me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This will help me know that no matter how much it hurts, God will redeem me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Challenge<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you living in pain or in darkness? Are you thinking of giving up because it just hurts too much? Know that this will end. Jesus will provide and comfort. God will put people in your life to help. You just need to listen to him and accept the help he&#8217;s providing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord Jesus, help us to see your light no matter how dark it seems. The pain is sometimes too much for us to bear. Remind us of your suffering and your defeat of death. Let us rejoice in knowing that the dawn us coming and all of this pain and suffering will end. We love you Lord and give you all the glory. If the grave cannot defeat you, conquering our pain and darkness will be easy.
