Are you like me looking for the like or the comment? Sometimes when I comment or even when I write #faithbites, I wonder if anybody is out there. I know people tell me they read it but sometimes I wonder.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Wondering if anybody is out there in our daily lives is challenging. It makes us feel alone and vulnerable. Do you ever feel that God isn&#8217;t there? That you have been praying and praying but he&#8217;s not answering? Maybe you feel that your prayers are going into the void and nobody is listening.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Friends, that couldn&#8217;t be further from the truth. God is listening and answering in his time, his way, and by his will. Many times we just don&#8217;t see how he is answering our prayers until much later. Know that you are not alone.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>Scripture<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/deu.31.6\" class=\"verseLink\">Deuteronomy 31:6<\/a> &#8211; So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>\u00a0your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/1jn.5.14-15\" class=\"verseLink\">1 John 5:14-15<\/a> &#8211; <span id=\"en-NLT-30599\" class=\"text 1John-5-14\">And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NLT-30600\" class=\"text 1John-5-15\"><sup class=\"versenum\">15\u00a0<\/sup>And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n<p>I was watching an episode of the new <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Twilight_Zone_(2019_TV_series)#Season_2_(2020)\">Twilight Zone<\/a> called &#8220;Ovation&#8221;. Basically, whatever the person did, no matter how weird, they got a standing Ovation. People flocked from all around to be with that person. When we pray to God or share our thoughts, most of the time, we aren&#8217;t going to get a standing Ovation. Rest assured that our heavenly father hears us.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes when you think he&#8217;s not answering, he&#8217;s gone ahead and is preparing the way for us. He gives us what we ask for, it just may look different than we thought.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One more time: You are not alone. You don&#8217;t have to ask if anybody is out there because God is. He is listening, he is there next to you, and will be with you until the end of the age.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>Challenge<\/h5>\n<p>Can you take that leap of faith and know that God is listening and is there? That your voice is being heard and is being more of an influence on others that you will ever know. God told us he will be there, we just need to believe.<\/p>\n<h5>Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n<p>Father God, thank you for always being there. When we feel that there isn&#8217;t anybody out there, help us to know that you are there. Remind us we will never be alone and that you have this. We love you and want to feel your presence. Be with us as we pray and try to become ever closer to you.
