1 Timothy 5:8<\/a> – But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\nReflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
God first, then family, then work, then other things. We know that we need to seek God first and foremost and we will be provided for. In 1 Timothy, it tells us that we need to provide for our family. It doesn’t say we need to give them mansions and everything they want. Sometimes, spending time with them is what they truly need. A hug, a shoulder, or just being present can be the best way to provide for someone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
While we can’t not do work, we can make choices to make sure all of our family’s needs are taken care of. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ok, back to spending time with my family and then some work later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
