It’s a say to reflect on what Jesus’s sacrifice means to you and how it has impacted your life.

I was lying on my bed this afternoon trying to reflect on this but everything I “had to do” kept coming in my mind. Mow the lawn. Move the laundry. Write #faithbites. Take the dog for a walk. Do dishes. Get mulch. The list kept going on and on. While these are things I should get to, it’s not like they are critical. They do not bring me happiness, they just released a bit of pressure.

Do you make time for reflection? Jesus didn’t do this just for believers or just for us. He did it for all, everyone, the whole world. God became flesh, lived a perfect life, and died for all of us. He took away our sins and gave us eternal redemption. Not just a few days or years off of our death sentence but eternal redemption.

One person, fully man and fully God, died for the sins of the whole world, paid the ransom for everyone, for eternal redemption. If that’s not worthy of a day of reflection, I don’t know what is.

As we end this #faithbites and get ready for Easter, I ask again, are you reflecting on His role in your life?

Challenge

What has Jesus done for you?
