I&#8217;m tired and a bit grumpy.  Not a bad day per say, but it reminds me of those bad days. A day when everything you do turns out wrong.  When no what, you just feel like a lost cause. Guess what? You may feel like that, but God doesnt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"The God Who Stays (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/QPwd_TQpsHY\" target=\"_blank\">The God Who Stays<\/a>, by Matthew West, he sings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>If I were You I would&#8217;ve given up on me by now<\/em><br><em>I would&#8217;ve labeled me a lost cause<\/em><br><em>Cause I feel just like a lost causeIf I were You I would&#8217;ve turned around and walked away<\/em><br><em>I would&#8217;ve labeled me beyond repair<\/em><br><em>Cause I feel like I&#8217;m beyond repair But somehow You don&#8217;t see me like I do<\/em><br><em>Somehow You&#8217;re still here<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We may feel lost and beyond hope, but God isnt and will never be done with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><em>It is the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.\u201d &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/deu.31.8\" class=\"verseLink\">Deuteronomy 31:8<\/a><\/em><\/li><li><em>Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the&nbsp;Lord&nbsp;your God is with you wherever you go.\u201d &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/jos.1.9\" class=\"verseLink\">Joshua 1:9<\/a><\/em><\/li><li><em>Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.\u201d &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/mat.28.20\" class=\"verseLink\">Matthew 28:20<\/a><\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ll be with you until the end of the age as long as you are good. The Lord God is with you only if you follow my commandments. Do not fear or be dismayed only if youve never committed sin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guess what, none of that is written. We add those pieces to it because we are fearful and scared. We feel we deserve bad things. God isnt like that. He wants to redeem and forgive us. He doesnt want us to keep living in sin, but if we ask for and are truly repentant, we are white as snow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No matter how many tines you feel like you are a lost cause, rest assured, God loves you. No matter how many times you feel that God has left, know that he is the Go who stays <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Challenge<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Trust in God&#8217;s love. You may think you are broken and lost, but God is with you no matter what. If you feel lost and alone, call out&#8221; &#8220;I am here, Lord. I love you. Help me.&#8221; He will answer as hs always there. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prayer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heavenly Lord, thank you for being the God Who Stays. You stay when everyone else would walk out. Help hs to trust in your word and not on our own understanding of worth. You love us unconditionally. Thank you always.
