Physical touch is something that we all crave in one way or another. We are supposed to be in contact with each other. I recently read an article about the Power of a One-Minute Hug,<\/a> but Jill Savage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The article says when you hug, you are telling the person that they are the most important thing in the world at that time. Nothing else matters except the two of you in that space at that time. This isn’t about sex or power or anything more than two people being connected. We all need that connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love hugs. Often when I drop my youngest off at school, her whole kindergarten class comes up to hug me. It’s an awesome experience. When I see people hurting, sad, tired, or upset, I ask if I can give them a hug. Some want it, some don’t. Those who do, feel something afterward. For a minute, they know that at least one person cares about them and loves them no matter what. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some say we can’t feel God’s touch. The truth is, when we hug others, we are feeling God. He is sending those people into our lives to help us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Melt into that hug and enjoy that connection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
