Today we are celebrating my wildest birthday a day early. We are at an indoor waterpark that has one of those giant buckets that dump water on you. My eldest and I waited and waited. She wanted to be dumped on. I was thinking of all the other thing we could do while we were waiting for the water, but we might have missed it. It was fun getting hundred of gallons dumped on us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Often we wait for something to happen. While we are waiting are we missing something that might happen? Can we be doing something else instead or while we wait? Christians have been waiting over 2,000 years. Imagine if we just stood still and did nothing. The faith would be gone and his good works would be shown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We need to strike the balance between waiting and doing. For Christian’s, we won’t miss him while we are working. In life, we need to trust that God will tell us when to wait and when to move. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
