We’ve all heard it, but do we know what it means? Practice what you preach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been in meetings where people will say the words their audience want to hear, but their manner is the exact opposite. A perfect example is someone giving a two hour lecture on how great active learning is. Seems to not match up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, in faith, many people share the good news of Jesus but don’t act like him. You can’t say our God is a God of love and forgiveness, but not love or forgive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It doesn’t work. If we want to be like Jesus, let’s practice what he preaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
