When ever I say I’m not worthy, I think of Wayne’s World. It’s catchy and they say they aren’t worthy for many things. When I look at my life, I often think how did I get so lucky. Why am I so blessed. This trip has been amazing. I have people from around the world help me out, listen to me, talk to me, and just open my eyes. While we were walking around the city, one of my colleagues said that I mentioned a “church thing” I have when I get back. That turned into an entire discussion about my #faithjourney, how I raise my children, and how God has impacted my life. This was God’s grace shinning through me. Who knows if I had an impact, but she said she could see my faith by how I talk about people and my family. That’s something. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listen, God has every right to cast us out for our actions. To turn his nose and walk away. But he doesn’t, he instead gives us mercy. But He doesn’t. He is merciful. And so should we be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back. – Matthew 18:15<\/a> <\/strong>(NLT)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then Peter came to him and asked, \u201cLord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?\u201d \u201cNo, not seven times,\u201d Jesus replied, \u201cbut seventy times seven!\u201d Matthew 18:21-22<\/a> (NLT)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

We are loved. We mess us. Even if you don’t think someone deserves grace and mercy, they do. We were given mercy when we didn’t deserve it. This is hard. Anger is easy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine if we forgave someone 490 times for one thing. That’s what Jesus calls us to do. Two days ago we talked about dropping our stone, let’s drop them and not cast them at others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Challenge<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Grant mercy. Even in your heart of hearts if you want to hate someone, grant forgiveness and mercy. Not easy, but it is Godly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Heavenly father, thank you for your grace which we don’t deserve. Grant us your peace and help us grant mercy to others. We may feel they don’t deserve it but you tell us everyone does.
