Sure, I like my job, but don&#8217;t love it. I&#8217;ve been thinking of what I should be doing with my life and being a bit down. I told my wife about it and she said it&#8217;s because I&#8217;m a Dreamer and never satisfied. I agree with her 100%.<\/p>\n<p>Got has made some of us dreamers, some of us doers, some builders, and some followers. We all have different paths in life.<\/p>\n<p>When you are a dreamer, life can be exciting but also stifling if you don&#8217;t see your work impacting the world.<\/p>\n<p>But if God made us specifically for a purpose, where do dreamers fit in?<\/p>\n<h5>Scripture<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color:rgb(0,0,0); font-family:Corbel,Verdana,sans-serif; font-size:medium; font-style:normal; font-variant-ligatures:normal; font-variant-caps:normal; font-weight:400; letter-spacing:normal; orphans:2text-indent:0px; text-transform:none; white-space:normal; widows:2; word-spacing:0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width:0px; background-color:rgb(255,255,255); text-decoration-style:initial; text-decoration-color:initial; display:inline!important; float:none; text-align:left;\">And he said, \u201cHear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the<span> <\/span><\/span><span class=\"sc\" style=\"font-variant:small-caps; color:rgb(0,0,0); font-family:Corbel,Verdana,sans-serif; font-size:medium; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; letter-spacing:normal; orphans:2text-indent:0px; text-transform:none; white-space:normal; widows:2; word-spacing:0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width:0px; background-color:rgb(255,255,255); text-decoration-style:initial; text-decoration-color:initial; text-align:left;\">Lord<\/span><span style=\"color:rgb(0,0,0); font-family:Corbel,Verdana,sans-serif; font-size:medium; font-style:normal; font-variant-ligatures:normal; font-variant-caps:normal; font-weight:400; letter-spacing:normal; orphans:2text-indent:0px; text-transform:none; white-space:normal; widows:2; word-spacing:0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width:0px; background-color:rgb(255,255,255); text-decoration-style:initial; text-decoration-color:initial; display:inline!important; float:none; text-align:left;\"><span> <\/span>make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.<\/span> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/num.12.6\" class=\"verseLink\">Numbers 12:6<\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:rgb(0,0,0); font-family:Corbel,Verdana,sans-serif; font-size:medium; font-style:normal; font-variant-ligatures:normal; font-variant-caps:normal; font-weight:400; letter-spacing:normal; orphans:2text-indent:0px; text-transform:none; white-space:normal; widows:2; word-spacing:0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width:0px; background-color:rgb(255,255,255); text-decoration-style:initial; text-decoration-color:initial; display:inline!important; float:none; text-align:left;\">And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.<\/span> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/jol.2.28\" class=\"verseLink\">Joel 2:28<\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color:rgb(0,0,0); font-family:Corbel,Verdana,sans-serif; font-size:medium; font-style:normal; font-variant-ligatures:normal; font-variant-caps:normal; font-weight:400; letter-spacing:normal; orphans:2text-indent:0px; text-transform:none; white-space:normal; widows:2; word-spacing:0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width:0px; background-color:rgb(255,255,255); text-decoration-style:initial; text-decoration-color:initial; display:inline!important; float:none; text-align:left;\">For a dream comes with much business, and a fool&#8217;s voice with many words.<\/span> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/ecc.5.3\" class=\"verseLink\">Ecclesiastes 5:3<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n<p>In both Joel and Numbers, we see that dreams and prophesy come God. He pours out his spirit on us and gives us these dreamers to turn them into action (business) as we see in Ecclesiastes.<\/p>\n<p>Knowing that God gives us these dreams helps, but at the same time how to out them into action is hard.<\/p>\n<p>In my case, it could be a new career and while that is great, is that where I want to go or should be? What does that mean for my family?<\/p>\n<p>In an ideal world, these dreams would come with a guidebook and instruction manual. But they don&#8217;t. We have to turn to the word of God, prayer, and the advice of others. If it&#8217;s meant to be it will be. <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/act.5.39\" class=\"verseLink\">Acts 5:39<\/a> speaks to concept: <span style=\"color:rgb(0,19,32); font-family:Arial,sans-serif; font-size:17.6px; font-style:normal; font-variant-ligatures:normal; font-variant-caps:normal; font-weight:400; letter-spacing:normal; orphans:2text-indent:0px; text-transform:none; white-space:normal; widows:2; word-spacing:0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width:0px; background-color:rgb(255,255,255); text-decoration-style:initial; text-decoration-color:initial; display:inline!important; float:none; text-align:left;\">But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.&#8221;<\/span> God will help us separate what is really a dream and what is from what he wants us to be.<\/p>\n<h5>Charge<\/h5>\n<p>Being a dreamer is great. You can see many opportunities and futures. At the same time, it&#8217;s frustrating on how to move forward. If you are a dreamer, write down and talk about your dreams with others. If you aren&#8217;t a dreamer, listen to dreamers and help them separate dreams from actions. Be with them as they struggle and create new futures.<\/p>\n<h5>Prayer<\/h5>\n<p>Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us dreams and aspirations. Help us have the courage, strength, and energy to pursue those dreams that you want us to. When it isn&#8217;t a dream you want us to follow, give us strength to let them go and focus where you want to. Let those around dreamers, help them to sort through the fantasies and keep them grounded.
