Say what you want. Be your own advocate.<\/p>\n<p>I have used these words and have had them said to me on many occasions. It is easier said than done.<\/p>\n<p>People close to me have began to make major changes in their lives without fighting all the way through to a change. Some just suck it and live in uncomfortable situations<\/p>\n<p>There are many reasons why. From not feeling they are worth what they deserve, to not having the strength to fight anymore, to not knowing where to go for help.<\/p>\n<p>The Lord is our advocate. He often puts people in our life to help us but we need to take the next step and accept the help.<\/p>\n<h5>Scripture<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"text 1John-2-1\" id=\"en-NIV-30552\" style=\"-webkit-font-smoothing:antialiased; color:rgb(0,0,0); font-family:\" helveticaneueverdanahelveticaarialsans-serif=\"helveticaneueverdanahelveticaarialsans-serif\" _16px=\"font-size:_16px\" normal=\"white-space:normal\" _400=\"font-weight:_400\" _2text-indent0px=\"orphans:_2text-indent0px\" none=\"text-transform:none\" _2=\"widows:_2\" _0px=\"_-webkit-text-stroke-width:_0px\" initial=\"text-decoration-color:initial\" left=\"text-align:left\">My dear children,<span> <\/span>I write this to you so that you will not sin. God sent him to bridge the gap and the holy Spirit to help us as well.<\/p>\n<p>But we know God works in mysterious ways. He acts by giving us people to help us. We need to accept that help. That includes praying, making phone calls, talking to people, soul searching, and most importantly, let our pride fall to the side.<\/p>\n<p>We are made perfect before God as Jesus forgives our sins. We need to accept that forgiveness and believe that we are worthy of all the help he has giving us.<\/p>\n<p>It is far from easy to say I need help. It&#8217;s challenging to call around and be your own advocate. You are worthy and deserving of his love and all his gifts.<\/p>\n<h5>Charge<\/h5>\n<p>Be your own advocate with God&#8217;s help. Ask for his help, then accept it. If you need help, reach out and ask for it. If it&#8217;s right, it is from God, and accept it.<\/p>\n<h5>Prayer<\/h5>\n<p>Lord, you are our Advocate. Help us accept your help. Give us the strength to ask for what we need, and even more strength to accept it. You have made us worthy, allow us to feel like we are worthy.
