This post has extremely minor spoilers. As part of the movie, and the series in general, their is an overwhelming need for a toy to belong to their kid. At times, our beloved toys are lost or without a child to love them. For some toys, without a kid they are lost. For others, they are just looking for a toy. But what about when you have served your purpose and no longer need a kid?.<\/p>\n<p>Ok, what does this have to do with #faithbites or Christ? Many times, we are looking for someone to love us, or make us feel like we have a purpose. When that purpose changes, we are lost. We begin to try to find something to replace it. What would happen if instead of trying to refill that lose, we acknowledged, that we were beginning a new chapter of life? It was about four in the afternoon.<\/span> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/jhn.1.39\" class=\"verseLink\">John 1:39<\/a><\/li>\n<li> <span style=\"color:rgb(51,51,51); font-family:helvetica,arial; font-size:16.9px; font-style:normal; font-variant-ligatures:normal; font-variant-caps:normal; font-weight:400; letter-spacing:normal; orphans:2text-indent:0px; text-transform:none; white-space:normal; widows:2; word-spacing:0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width:0px; background-color:rgb(255,255,255); text-decoration-style:initial; text-decoration-color:initial; display:inline!important; float:none; text-align:left;\">You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.<\/span> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/psa.16.11\" class=\"verseLink\">Psalm 16:11<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n<p>Our verses show us a series of events. In Timothy, we set finishing our mission and keeping the faith. Then we see in John, about going with Jesus to learn and see what was next. Finally, we see in Psalm, that God will make known your path.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the trick to that. We have to listen to God to know our path. Often times, we are so focused on what we are doing and what we know that we try to replicate that. In Toy Story Parlance, we just want to be loved by a child, even when the child isn&#8217;t playing with us.<\/p>\n<p>When something changes and God wants us to something new, we have to be open to it. Maybe it&#8217;s playing with a new child, maybe it&#8217;s becoming someone else. When we acknowledge the change and look at it as a new beginning rather than a loss, we can feel the excitement and love of what Jesus wants us to do.<\/p>\n<h5>Charge<\/h5>\n<p>Feeling scared and lost is normal when life changes. We have to trust in God. He made us in his image and as his masterpiece. He definitely has a plan for you. Take a moment to look at what is really going on. God has your back.<\/p>\n<h5>Prayer<\/h5>\n<p>Lord, sometimes we feel lost. We don&#8217;t know what we should be doing. We want to hear your plan for us but we get in the way of ourselves. Help us to know that you have a plan. Remind us that even though we feel lost, we are never out if your site. Keep our ears and our hearts open to know that when we feel lost, we are right where you want us.
