I believe that your friends can be family and you may have a stronger connection to them than you do your blood.<\/p>\n<p>I love my blood relatives. At the same time, I have several members of my family who are my friends. My best friend has been my friend for 24 years and is introduced as my brother. We have other &#8220;uncles&#8221; and &#8220;aunts&#8221; for my kids, and I have a few moms and a couple of dads, none of which are blood.<\/p>\n<p>Why does this matter? No matter what situation we are born in, there are people who love us like family no matter what. I think that&#8217;s been pretty best into our heads. If not, here it is again. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Imagine someone who loves you at all times no matter what. Someone who wants to to out do you with honor and someone who will help you bear all your burdens? Sound like family? sound like Christ? Then guess what, that is your non-blood family.<\/p>\n<p>I have been blessed to have many people in my life who are non-blood family. It doesn&#8217;t detract from my blood kin, but rather gives me access to even more people who love me.<\/p>\n<p>This is part of God&#8217;s plan. For us to be cherished and loved by many.<\/p>\n<p>I am grateful.<\/p>\n<h5>Charge<\/h5>\n<p>Take a minute to thank your non-blood family. Send them a text. Give them a call. Tell them you are thinking about you. Remember, they are in your life by choice and want to be there for you. Don&#8217;t take them for granted.<\/p>\n<h5>Prayer<\/h5>\n<p>Lord, you gave me plenty of family members. You then chose to give me even more non-blood family. These people are part of your plan to help me feel loved, cherished, and honored. Help all of us to remember how blessed we are to have our bonus family. Remind us to be grateful to them for their friendship. Help us to support them and love them as you have loved us.
