Today’s lesson continues our discussion about the transformation from Sol to Paul.<\/a>\u00a0After I posted about how we can all be a witness and become an apostle, a friend said knowing my #faithjourney made the story even more impactful. I thought that we all have a story to share. Mine coming from a practicing jew as a kid to non-practicing anything while having faith, to learning about religion, faith, becoming baptized and growing in the Lord. It has been a remarkable journey and I have shared a part of here on the blog.<\/a><\/p>\n

While my transformation has been interesting, remarkable, and crazy, it isn’t unique nor is it complete. Our faith is a continuous\u00a0journey from the day we are born until our last breath. We get caught up in the crises of the now, rather than on our journey for life. We don’t’ share our stories as we think people may be bored, may not want to hear them, may not agree with us, and so many other reasons. Our transformation isn’t one of changing our bodies or our minds, but of our hearts. It’s not something that is physically noticeable, but in our interactions, in our words, and most important in how we care for others.<\/p>\n

My body is the same as it’s always been, give or take 50 pounds. But how I interact. How I feel. How I love, is different.<\/p>\n

“Do not conform\u00a0to the pattern of this world,\u00a0but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.\u00a0Then you will be able to test and approve what God\u2019s will is\u2014his good, pleasing\u00a0and perfect will.” Romans 12:2<\/a><\/p>\n

“I have been crucified with Christ\u00a0and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.\u00a0The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me\u00a0and gave himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20<\/a><\/p>\n

\n

We do not live for us. We live to spread his word. For those who say you are Christians, are you living as Christ would? Do you love your neighbor and your God? Are you taking advantage of the gift he gave us? Or are you conforming to the patterns fo the world? I confess while I wear the armor of God, I do not always wear the flesh of Christ. I conform to the world more than I want to. As I reflect on my preparations\u00a0to play the Apostle Paul, I pray that the scales fall from my eyes and my heart. That I become the Apostle Sol and share his word, my faults, and am\u00a0growing every day.<\/p>\n

Are you willing to commit to a public transformation? Are you willing to wear the flesh of Christ in all your actions and your deeds? Are you willing to becoming an Apostle?<\/p>\n

I am willing (with the help of God)<\/p>\n
