The day in between the darkness and sadness of Good Friday and the jubilation of Easter Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yesterday, I wrote about God Friday and made a mistake. I said that &#8220;Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani&#8221; means &#8220;It is finished&#8221;. I wrote that even when I clearly said it means God, why have you foresaken me. Luckily, one of my friends called me on it. He said, I was wrong and bordering in heretical. That wasn&#8217;t my intention at all. I thanked him for his feedback, apologized, and changed what I wrote to better reflect what I meant and the truth. <a href=\"http:\/\/roberts-lieb.com\/faithbites\/2018\/07\/11\/july-11-getting-feedback-or-calling-me-on-my-crap\/\">I&#8217;m glad friends call me out when I&#8217;m wrong.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is human forgiveness, which pales in comparison to heavenly forgiveness. Now if Jesus didn&#8217;t die on the cross on Good Friday and wasn&#8217;t raised from the dead on Easter Sunday, where would we be? We wouldn&#8217;t have a fufiled bridge with God, nor forgiveness, nor eternal salvation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am forever grateful that I can err and be forgiven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Scripture<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>\u201cI the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. &#8211; Malachi  3:6<\/li><li>If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/1jn.1.9\" class=\"verseLink\">1 John 1:9<\/a><\/li><li>&nbsp;If you declare with your mouth, \u201cJesus is Lord,\u201d and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/rom.10.9\" class=\"verseLink\">Romans 10:9<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4>Reflection<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>God is the same as he was yesterday as he is today and will be tomorrow. Because of his sacrifice on the cross, Jesus will forgive us no matter what we do. As it says in Romans, if we speak with our mouths and believe in our heart that Jesus was raised from the dead, we sill be saved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, I made a big error yesterday in my #faithbite and was called on it. I took the feedback, no only deepening my faith, but also showing humility, and human forgiveness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Praise God, that he sent Jesus to die for us, and take our sins. We are forgiven thanks to his sacrifice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Charge<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>When you err, which you will multiple times a day, be open to feedback and the forgiveness of the risen Lord. It will get easier to accept and give forgiveness as you do this. You will feel his blessings through his eternal love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Prayer<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Almighty Father, thank you for your son Jesus. Thank you for letting us live in a world where our mistakes aren&#8217;t our undoing. You&#8217;ve provided a world that no matter what we do, we can be forgiven by the Grace of Jesus.
