And it’s been a long December and there’s reason to believe
Maybe this year will be better than the last
I can’t remember all the times I tried to tell my myself

I know I’ve written about this concept before, but I wanted to dive into it again. We have so many memories and experiences to cherish, love, and share. We also get so caught up in the day to day and what comes next, that we don’t stop to celebrate the little victories or moments as they pass. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickling your kids, cooking lasagna with your niece, cuddling a distraught child, watching TV, swinging in the back yard, so many things to remember and cherish. As we approach 10 years that dad has been gone, I try to hold on to the moments we had and make sure my kids have moments with me, they will remember <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe, I don’t get done what I wanted to so I could make one more memory. While I’m behind in my work, it’s ok, they have a forever gift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
