While there I talked to a pharmacist who I could tell wasn&#8217;t happy with his situation. He had a ton of perscriptions to fill, he didn&#8217;t know the store well, and had no technician to help him. Even though he was upset, he was super helpful, kind, and understanding of my situation. He did everything he could to help me, while talking, in a professional way, about things that weren&#8217;t good. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That small interaction reminded me that we can disagree and not be disagreeable. We can be angry and not act in anger. We can have these real emotions while still Loving and being kind to each other <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Scripture<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>&#8220;Now then, please swear to me by the LORD that you will show kindness to my family, because I have shown kindness to you. Give me a sure sign &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/jos.2.12\" class=\"verseLink\">Joshua 2:12<\/a><\/li><li>Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/eph.4.26\" class=\"verseLink\">Ephesians 4:26<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4>Reflection<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We all get angry and that&#8217;s ok. It an emotion that the Lord gave us. How we act when angry, that is where the Ephesians verse comes in. We can chose to sin or we can chose kindness. Some call it being a bigger person, I call it being Christ-Like<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Joshua, we see that we should expect kindness if we give kindness. Not everyone believes this, but we are not to judge nor pass sentence on someone if they should be given kindness or not. Only the Lord can do that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That pharmacist showed me a very practice way to be upset with a situation while being calm, cool, and collected. I hope that is something I can emulate more in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Charge<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>When you are angry do you show kindness? Maybe you give people what they have coming to them: Anger for anger. Take a moment to look at someone of your recent actions. Maybe you responded more with anger than in kindness. It&#8217;s never too late to change how you interact with others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><div>Prayer<\/div><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Lod, remind us that being upset or angry isn&#8217;t a bad thing. How we react when we experience those issues could be a problem. Give us the strength and knowledge of how to be kind to all those we meet.
