Let me care for you.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>#faithbites #faithjourney turn<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m a pretty strong guy\nand tend to take care of everyone. That&#8217;s my role and I like it. I&#8217;m willing to\ndo just about anything for anyone. Call me Atlas with the world on my\nshoulders. Most days, I don&#8217;t even think bout it as I believe that is why I&#8217;m\nhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today was different. I\nhad a colonoscopy that while it went well, has left me in a lot of pain all\nday. My wife and babysitter we&#8217;re wrapping presents and told me to go take a\nnap. My wife has allowed me to rest the day, picking up the kids, and picking\nup dinner. I didn&#8217;t have to do any of my normal chores. It is hard to have\nsomeone else take care of me, but we need to from time to time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The thing that we need to know is God is always there to take care\nof us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Scripture<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the\u00a0Lord\u00a0your God is with you wherever you go.\u201d &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/jos.1.9\" class=\"verseLink\">Joshua 1:9<\/a><\/li><li> Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.\u201d &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/mat.28.20\" class=\"verseLink\">Matthew 28:20<\/a> <\/li><li> Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the\u00a0Lord\u00a0your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.\u201d &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/my.bible.com\/111\/deu.31.6\" class=\"verseLink\">Deuteronomy 31:6<\/a> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5>Reflection<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>For those that believe in God and Christ, we know that he is\nalways there as he is eternal. I think that we, at least I do, forget that not\nonly is he there but he wants to help us. We just need to ask for it and accept\nit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is hard for me to lay down and rest. Even when I&#8217;m sick, I try\nto do laundry and dishes and clean. I feel guilty when I don&#8217;t do something.\nRight now I&#8217;m laying on the bed in pain, but know everything with be ok. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We need to be strong and courageous while remembering to be open\nto and accepting of help. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Charge<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the easiest and\nhardest charge. Accept God&#8217;s help. Let him, through his people, take care of\nyou when you need it, which is always. \n\nLord, give me the strength to accept help.\nRemind me that accepting help and support isn&#8217;t being weak but rather being\npart of your loving family. <br><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>346 &#8211; Your Turn.
