#faithbites #faithjourney seen #DisneyDreaming
We’re going to start today with a song, sing along with me.
From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There’s more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
There’s far too much to take in hereMore to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless roundIt’s the circle of life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and loveTill we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle
The circle of life
You were probably singing along with me. The Circle of Life, from Lion King, not only sums up our Disney Trip, but our #faithjourney and life on Earth.
There are so many things we want to do in life. So many things to see, things to do, and ways to live life. Admitting we can’t do them all isn’t failure but direction.
The same can be said for understanding God and our faith. I don’t think I will ever know everything about God and Jesus. There is too much to know and even more that we can’t understand.
But we know God has been on all paths and will help us as we try to find our place.
I try to do so much and think I can do everything. I know that there is more than can ever be seen or ever be done. The hardest part is going through the despair as we are waiting for the hope and the love.
The reason this is hard is we forget that God created us, chose us, and knows his plans for us. We have nothing to fear as God has already been there, knows us, and will help us on our path.
We do know at some point, the circle of life will end for us, our path complete, and we will be with Jesus. Even though we are there, the lessons Jesus has taught us will be our legacy to our kids and great-grandchildren.
While we are wrapping up Disney, I know there was more to do than can ever be done. I also know I can come back. In life, we have one shot, but through Christ, we are saved.
Breathe. Realize you can do everything and be everything to everyone. Ask God to help you on your path. You will see the other stuff be less important as you have reached the love and hope.
Lord, your world is vast. Help us to know we can’t see and do everything. Point us where we out want us to be. Light our path, give us perseverance, and help us to the most on Earth as we are part of your Circle Of Life. Amen.
