July 19 – Family is Family No Matter Distance
200 – Family is Family, No Matter the Distsnce

#Faithbites #FairhJourney Family

Down the street or two thousand miles away family is still family. No matter the distance or time between visits, true family loves unconditionally.

Todat, my eldest and I flew to San Fransisco to visit family. Some Inhad seen last week, some five years agoz, and others was 10 years. No matter how long it had been, it was like yesterday. Hugs, love, deep conversations, and connections were made.

I’m blessed with family. No matter how ”ood’ or ”bad’ your family is there is that bond we share.

Being in the family of Christ is like that. You are loved no matter where you go and are welcomed in the family

Scripture about Being in the Family
  • So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit – Ephesians 2:19-22
Reflection

I’ve always said in my family we put the fun in dsyfunctional. I don’t think any family is perfect. Indo know though that no matter if you fsmoly is biological, friends, or three family of God you are loved and wanted.

It may be a day, a year or ten years since you’ve visit your spiritual fmaoly, but God loves you. You are welcome to pick up the conversation where you left off or to start a new conversation. It’s up to you.

Charge

Today’s charge is simple. Will you call your family? This can be your physical family or your spiritual family. They both want to hear from you or welcome you as a new member.

I will continue to be part of my family with the help of God.
