#158of365 #FaithBites #FaithJourney

Before we get started,I have to admit that this is the highest faithbites ever. Not that it it more Noble or more holy than others, just that I am writing it at 28,000 feet. Not sure if it makes me closer to God,because he is everywhere.
Anywho, onto Faithbites

People are People

Being in an airport can be a wonderful experience. Yes, it’s hectic with people running from gate to gate, long lines for the bathrooms and food, cramped accommodations and the lost goes on and on. These may not seem like wonderful experiences to you, but for me it gives me the opportunity to people watch. Which is a fsvorite past time of mine.
On my first flight, I had a wonderful conversation soth a woman off to visit her boyfriend in North Carolina. On this flight, I was joking with several older African Americans, conversing with two 18 – 20  something Caucasian women, and having a Facebook chat with a new friend from Kenya.
The funny thing is, we were all laughing and talking about the same things.
We all want peace.
We want security and saftey
We want freedom to love, worship, and live.
We want governments that represent us, people who respect us, and opportunities to explore.
We have the same emotions, hopes, and dreams. (While our specific dreams may be different, our longing and dreaming is universal.

People as a group can be terrible.
People are individuals can be amazing.

We need to remember we are all the same. We are all people who want to live. We are all people of the same God.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” – Galatians 3:28 (ESV)

“So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality,” – Acts 10:34

“Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why then are we faithless to one another, profaning the covenant of our fathers?” – Malachi 2:10

People are people. We were created by the same heavenly being. Even if you don’t believe in God, we all evolved from the same blood, the same lifelines. You are in my bloodline and I am in yours.

Would you kill yourself?

Would you ridiculed yourself?

Would you love yourself?

We are all the same in God’s eyes. We are in flesh, one body.

We may look different on the outside. We may speak a different language. We may have different views on some topics, but we are all people. We need to love others as we love ourselves.

Can you see that we are all brothers and sisters? Can you see how you treat others is a reflection on yourself?

I can see with the help of God
